RE: Bendis: The new version of Plotist
I found a slight issue! Not sure what to do. I tried clicking edit on an event and it brought me to the Discover page rather than the edit page. I did edit a different event a few days ago and that worked fine. But it seems to be with anything I try to edit now and this is quite concerning for the world building contest if I can't edit anything :T
Thanks in advance for any help!
RE: Feedback for Plotist version Bendis
Hi there! Loving the new version and I'm excited to enter the world building contest, just gotta polish things off. However, I ran into an error and I'm not sure what to do.
I was in the summary for my world/story (still getting used to the difference) and I clicked edit to change the tags as I wanted to remove one. I clicked the little x and when I hit save, this message popped up: Error while updating world tags.1: fails to match the required pattern: /^[ a-zA-Z0-9_-]+$/ tags: must be a string
Just to inform you, thanks for any help!
Heyo its me :3
Hi there, I guess I should formally introduce myself. My name is Paméla, though most people call me Pam for short. Yes, like the cooking spray ;P
I've loved writing for as long as I can remember. I've participated in the last couple of NaNoWriMos, not making it very far either time. BUT THIS YEAR THO. I am incredibly excited for NaNoWriMo this year, I am much less busy, much more prepared! The latter thanks to lots of papers and Plotist :D
Lets see... I am 19, Canadian, and writing a YA-contemporary-romance-speculative fiction THINNNG. I've never been good with placing books in genres, there are just so many terms.
Music and writing go hand in hand for me, I have a playlist on my iPod that I nickname my writing playlist since its with very emotional songs, those songs make me want to write!
I hope everyone here is excited for their writing projects, whether its NaNoWriMo or revision or editing or freelance writing! :D
RE: Planning for #NaNoWriMo 2016
@Sian I always am very excited too! Participation is important, sometimes starting is the most difficult thing.
When I'm nervous, music is a really big help, and also scrolling through writing prompt blogs on tumblr (I have a few favourites that I turn to in times of need). I have a playlist of music I call my "writing" music but only because each song is beautiful and emotional and moving and it they make me want to write!
Good luck to you too!!
RE: Planning for #NaNoWriMo 2016
I have developed my idea and I am very excited for this November! I attempted the last two years of NaNoWrimo but both had to be put on hold because of school work. This year my schedule is much more flexible and free, so I am feeling very confident I could get to 50k this year!
Sometimes I feel an immense weight of telling my story overwhelming me and writer's block hits me in the face. I need to learn to not let those feelings get to me, to just write like a mad-woman, to ignore the inner critique and the inner editor!
There are times when I'm nervous or anxious and need a piece of inspiration to turn the spark to a flame to then blast out more words.
How can you help? Maybe a forum where we can exchange inspirations, worries, encouragement, tips and the like?
I absolutely love your website and I tell lots of people about it :D
