    That tip about bulk food prep - absolutely worth it. When I did NaNo I was lucky that my husband agreed to have food prepped for us. The amount of "warm up in microwave" food I went through was crazy. :D But he did also make sure I ate something. That helps. :D

    So for self care, I'd actually add in have someone check in on you, occasionally! Hehe

  • I'd suggest getting to know the MC of your intended project and develop a strong relationship to their personality/background. It made the process much easier to pick up the character and work every day, much like he had to go to work and deal with real life of his own, although his 'day-in-the-life' typically strayed towards the dangerous and exciting.
